BigDomU Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2025-10-06

This Privacy Policy explains how BigDomU's mobile app ("Cherry Picker") handles information on your device. The app does not require an account; data stays on your device unless you choose to export/share it.

Summary

  • No account; no server-side storage by BigDomU.
  • Offer history (Room) and accepted orders (SharedPreferences) stored locally.
  • Accessibility Service reads offer screens to overlay grades; no automation of other apps.
  • Voice notifications use Text-to-Speech only; no audio recording or upload.
  • Rewarded ads may be shown to earn local export credits; consent (UMP) is requested where required.

Data We Collect and Store (On-Device)

  • Offer history: parsed totals (earnings, distance, duration), computed metrics ($/mile, $/hour), grade, source app, timestamps.
  • Accepted orders: source app, earnings, distance, duration, grade, session start timestamp for summary.
  • Settings: grading thresholds, overlay preferences, voice enablement.
  • Export credits ("local coins"): expiry timestamps for each credit (e.g., 1 ad → 2 exports; each expires after 7 days).
  • Accessibility overlay state and last parsed offer (in-memory only; not persisted).

We do not intentionally collect your contact information, precise location, or device identifiers for our own backend.

Ads and Consent

  • We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show optional rewarded ads that grant export credits.
  • We request consent using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required (e.g., EEA). Your ad preferences are respected.
  • During development and testing, Google's test ad units may be used.
  • Ad SDKs may process device-level signals per their own policies (e.g., IP address, device identifiers) to provide and measure ads. See Google's privacy policies for details.

How We Use Information

  • Grade offers and compute metrics over supported app screens via the accessibility overlay.
  • Display history and accepted lists; summarize sessions (counts, earnings, estimated hours).
  • Provide optional voice summaries for offers when enabled.
  • Gate export actions using local export credits earned via rewarded ads.

All processing and storage described above occur on your device. We do not upload your data to BigDomU servers.

Accessibility Service Disclosure

Cherry Picker uses Android's Accessibility Service to:

  • Observe limited UI events and read text on supported delivery apps (e.g., DoorDash) to compute and display an overlay grade.
  • Event types processed include window content/state changes and view clicks with view IDs when available.

We do not:

  • Automate other apps' UI or perform clicks for you.
  • Read passwords, messages, or unrelated personal content outside offer screens.

You can disable the accessibility service in Android settings at any time.

Voice Notifications

When enabled, the app uses your device's Text-to-Speech engine to speak short offer summaries.

  • No audio recording.
  • No audio storage.
  • No voice uploads.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

If you use Android's share features to export your data (e.g., email, cloud drive), that is user-initiated and outside our control.

Data Retention

  • Offer history and accepted orders remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app.
  • Export credits are stored locally as expiry timestamps and are automatically pruned when expired.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all app data stored on your device.

Your Choices

  • Enable/disable grading and voice notifications in settings.
  • Clear Offer History (Room) and Accepted Orders (SharedPreferences) from in-app controls.
  • Manage ad consent via the UMP prompt where applicable.
  • Uninstall the app to remove all data.

Security

  • Data is stored locally using Android storage (Room and SharedPreferences).
  • Export credits can optionally be stored via encrypted preferences in future versions.
  • No cloud accounts or remote sync are used.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for adult drivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Use

We operate locally on your device. If AdMob/UMP are enabled, ad-related processing follows Google's policies and applicable regional requirements.

Contact

If material changes are made to this policy, we will update the Effective Date and provide the updated policy within the app.
